Salman Khan and Arijit Singh had a feud in the past and were not on talking terms. The singer’s songs were also removed from Salman’s films ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ and ‘Sultan’ as per reports. For those not in the know, it all started at a 2014 award show which Salman Khan was hosting. He jokingly asked Arijit, “So gaye the? (Were you sleeping). Arijit had responded, “”Aap logon ne sula diya” (You people put me to sleep), which Salman took as an insult. Post that, Arijit had made attempts to apologise to the singer. He also shared a post on Facebook where he pleaded the actor to reconsider and keep his version of a song in ‘Sultan’. He later deleted the post. In October 2023, it seemed like all’s well between them as they were seen together at Salman’s house. Not to mention, Arijit also had a song in ‘Tiger 3’. Now years later, Salman has opened up on this feud with Arijit. In the latest ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’ episode on the show, Salman was joined by comedian Ravi Gupta who joked that he was scared of meeting Salman as he looks like Arijit. Salman laughed on it and said, “Arijit aur main ab bohot acche dost hai. Woh misunderstanding thi aur woh meri side se thi. Uske baad toh usne gaane bhi kiye mere liye. ‘Tiger 3’ mein kiya tha, aur ab Galwan mein bhi kar raha hai (Arijit and I are good friends now. That was a misunderstanding and it was a misunderstanding from my end. After that, he’s also worked with me. He had a song in Tiger 3 and now also my next film ‘Battle Of Galwan).”Meanwhile, during the episode, Khan also schooled AR Murugadoss as he had blamed the star for ‘Sikandar’ being a flop. He had accused that Khan was arriving on set in the night at 9pm. Salman took a jibe at it and said in his signature humour, “Kya hai na main set pe raat ke 9 baje pahuchta tha, toh usme gadbad ho gayi. Meri pasaliyan tooti thi, isne jo hamare director (AR Murugadoss) sahab hain unhone ye kaha. Lekin unki picture (Madharaasi) abhi ek release hui hai jisme actor 6 baje pahuchta tha.” Salman has been working on ‘Battle Of Galwan’ at the moment along with hosting ‘Bigg Boss 19′.
