Tennis fans, get ready — the world’s best players are heading back to Perth this January for the 2026 United Cup, serving up another massive summer of world-class action at RAC Arena.
Running from January 2, the international mixed-team tournament will see 18 countries go head-to-head across Perth and Sydney, with our city once again hosting the opening session — and two blockbuster quarterfinal matches on Wednesday 7 January.
Tickets for Perth’s quarterfinals go on sale 4pm AWST via Ticketek, with group stage tickets set to drop in November.
The first team confirmed for the 2026 tournament is Poland, led by none other than Women’s World Number Two and six-time Grand Slam champion Iga Świątek (pictured above), alongside former Men’s World Number Six Hubert Hurkacz.
The United Cup brings men’s and women’s stars together in a format that combines singles and mixed doubles, creating some of the most exciting matchups on the global tennis calendar.
The United Cup is expected to attract thousands of spectators and inject millions of dollars into the local economy, and Tourism Minister Reece Whitby said the event continues to put Perth on the world sporting map: “The United Cup will be a sensational start to our events calendar in 2026, showcasing the world’s best players and shining an international spotlight on our extraordinary State.”
Outside RAC Arena, a vibrant fan zone will add to the atmosphere, featuring interactive games, pop-up experiences and family-friendly entertainment throughout the tournament.
