Even though it’s been just ten days since Taylor Swift dropped her record-breaking 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, there’s still no rest for the wicked. Good Morning America has teased that Swift will be making a “huge new exclusive announcement” on the program in just a few hours. And, chances are, if you’re in Australia, you’re wondering how to watch the Taylor Swift Good Morning America interview.

How And Where To Watch The Taylor Swift Good Morning America Interview

Now, for the not-so-great news. Good Morning America is a U.S. morning show (on ABC) and is not broadly syndicated live in Australia in the same way as American morning shows like Today or CBS Mornings. To watch it live, you may need to be handy with a VPN—otherwise, we’re sure Good Morning America (and the Swift fandom) will be blasting the announcement across socials within minutes of the episode going to air.

What Is The Taylor Swift Good Morning America Announcement About?

The timing feels perfectly on-brand: October 13 is Taylor’s favourite number, and the network teased the segment with dramatic hints and a clip using the chorus from Fate of Ophelia, promising fans they’ll discover “what’s next” for her.

It’s unlikely to be touring news. In a BBC Radio 1 interview on October 3, Swift, 35, shut down any prospects of touring again anytime soon.
“I’m gonna be really honest with you. Like, I am so tired when I think about doing it again because I would want to do it really, really well again,” she admitted.

Some fans are in a frenzy, speculating this could be about an Eras Tour documentary announcement. “Are we FINALLY getting the Documentary?!!!! OMG! OMG! OMG! Places everyone!”

Another pointed out: “Eras Tour Documentary 👀 She did have a Female Rage: The Musical poster hanging in the Fate of Ophelia music video. But she also had 12 doors in 12 cities 🤷🏼‍♀️.”

Finally, one excitable fan simply wrote: “ERAS TOUR DOCUMENTARY.”

So, we’re sensing they’re keen for a doco.

Others are speculating she could be launching her own record label (which would feel apt after securing her masters), announcing another re-recording, or even having a baby. Here at ELLE Australia, it could be anything — from another Charli XCX diss track (the feud is bubbling away) to an open invitation to her wedding to Travis Kelce. We’ve been on such a rollercoaster of Taylor Swift announcements — whether the podcast appearance that started it all or her engagement news and the The Life of a Showgirl drop — that at this stage, we’re experts at waiting with bated breath.
