NEW HAVEN, Conn. – On Sunday, Melchior Delloye and Benjamin Privara advanced to the semifinals at the ITA New England Regionals.
Delloye defeated teammate, Valdemar Pape, in a three-set battle. After falling in tiebreakers in the first set, Delloye bounced back with 6-2 and 6-4 results in the final two sets.
Privara followed with his own three-set win over Felipe Pinzon (Cornell). The two players traded 6-3 results before the Harvard sophomore solidified his victory with a 6-4 third set win.
The Harvard players will look to secure NCAA Individual Championship berths as they compete in today’s semifinals in New Haven, Conn.
