Fremantle and Port Adelaide have agreed upon a trade for midfielder Will Brodie
Fremantle have agreed to trade midfielder Will Brodie to Port Adelaide in exchange for Draft pick No.103 in the 2025 Telstra AFL Draft.
Brodie joins Liam Reidy as the second Fremantle player to depart during the Continental Tyres AFL Trade period, following their requests for opportunities at AFL level.
“Will hasn’t played at senior level since 2023 and we were happy to facilitate his request to be traded to Port,” said Head of Player Personnel David Walls.
“We don’t have many list spots so this trade enables us to have two selections in the Draft, as well as opening up some space in the salary cap.”
Brodie, who was contracted to Fremantle for season 2026, played 29 AFL games across four years in purple following his trade from the Gold Coast SUNS at the end of 2021.
The 27-year-old also played 45 games for Fremantle’s WAFL affiliate Peel Thunder and was a member of Peel’s 2023/24 finals campaigns, including the 2024 premiership.
