Apple TV+’s The Family Plan 2 reunites Mark Wahlberg and Michelle Monaghan for a mix of family drama and blockbuster spectacle.
The holiday season takes an unexpected turn in Apple TV+’s upcoming action-comedy sequel The Family Plan 2, with Mark Wahlberg reprising his role as Dan, a devoted husband and father whose carefully planned overseas family holiday spirals into chaos when a shadowy figure from his past, played by Kit Harington, resurfaces.
What begins as a festive getaway quickly unravels into an international chase across Europe, filled with bank heists, holiday hijinks, and high-speed car chases. Along the way, Dan, his wife Jessica (Michelle Monaghan), and their kids find themselves bonding and bickering in equal measure amid the mayhem.

The film is an Apple Original production from Skydance Media, directed and executive produced by Simon Cellan Jones, who also helmed the first instalment. The screenplay is written and executive produced by David Coggeshall.
Production is led by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Don Granger for Skydance, alongside Mark Wahlberg and Stephen Levinson under Municipal Pictures, with John G. Scotti also producing.

The Family Plan 2 premieres on Apple TV+ on Friday, 25 November 2025.
