The Israel – Premier Tech squad continues to consolidate its sporting project with a clear look to the future. The team has officially announced the incorporation of the young and promising Italian climber Alessandro Pinarello, who will sign a contract for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
Pinarello, 22 years old, arrives from VF Group-Bardiani CSF-Faizanè, where he has shown a steady progression since his entry into the professional field. In his time with the Italian team, he has established himself as one of the most interesting riders of the new generation of Italian cycling.
The Italian has shown solidity in both one-day races and stage races. Among his most recent results, a fourth place in the Giro della Toscana and a sixth place in the Giro della Romagna, both obtained in the last month, confirm his good form and competitive maturity.
“What attracted me most about the team was to see that it is growing and returning to the WorldTour. I’ve followed their results over the last few years and I think it’s a great place to develop as a rider,” Pinarello said.
Clear objectives and big dreams
Pinarello already had his baptism in the grand tours when he made his debut in this year’s Giro d’Italia, an experience that has motivated him to aim higher in his professional career.
“I want to continue to evolve in stage races, especially in the fight for the general classification. My dream is to win a stage in the Giro, but I also have the desire to race classics like the Flèche Wallonne and Liège-Bastogne-Liège, and, of course, the great dream of every cyclist: to compete in the Tour de France,” explained the rider.

From the team management, the addition of Pinarello has been received with enthusiasm. IPT’s general manager, Kjell Carlström, highlighted the team’s commitment to young talent:
“The signing of Alessandro is part of our long-term development strategy. At his young age he is already experienced and has shown his potential, but the best is yet to come,” Carlström said. “He has performed very well in the Italian classics both in 2024 and this year, and has shown consistency overall in several races. He will bring us depth in the climber’s block and will be a key player over the next two years.”
