Westpac will debut its first advertising campaign drawing on the star power of the bank’s partnership with Cricket Australia. The new series of three advertisements will air from Sunday October 19th and be broadcast throughout a summer of domestic and international cricket, culminating in the 2025-26 Ashes series.

The campaign features Australian cricket icons Pat Cummins, Alyssa Healy, Phoebe Litchfield, Alana King, Sam Konstas, and Nathan Lyon celebrating those big life moments where ‘It Takes A Little Westpac’ to get it done.

The ads kick start a fully integrated program including in-stadium experiences, digital acquisition initiatives, and community engagement that fans will have the opportunity to experience throughout the summer.

The new ad campaign comes as the bank announces Pat Cummins, Alyssa Healy, and Phoebe Litchfield as Westpac Ambassadors to lend their star power to initiatives across the breadth of the partnership.

The campaign, developed with Westpac’s strategic brand and creative agency BMF, is the first major creative execution under new chief growth and marketing officer, Michelle Klein.

“This partnership is about more than just cricket – it’s about community, inclusion and momentum,” said Michelle.

“It’s a proud moment for Westpac to step up to the crease and show how we’re backing Australians on and off the field. Whether it’s meeting savings goals for a holiday, bidding on your dream home at an auction, or helping businesses to grow and prosper, this new campaign shows it takes a little Westpac, and a little humour, to get it done and achieve your goals.”

Tom Hoskins, executive creative director, BMF, said, “This summer of cricket is set to be huge. Not only is it an Ashes year, but it also marks the first innings of the partnership between Westpac and Cricket Australia and we’re enormously proud to help bring this to life. Just like in sport, the momentum that comes from reaching a financial milestone is worth celebrating, and what better way to do it than with a team of fired-up Aussie cricketers.”

Westpac’s partnership with Cricket Australia officially commenced on July 1st 2025 and includes:

• Westpac as the Principal Partner for the men’s and women’s national teams. Westpac’s logo will be front and centre on the shirts of the Australian men’s and women’s teams for all matches played in Australia across Test, One-Day and T20 formats, as well as Australia A and under 19s.

• Westpac is also the Official Partner of the men’s and women’s Big Bash Leagues, with the bank’s logo featuring on the Women’s Big Bash League umpire shirts.

• Support for local clubs and communities. Westpac will become the presenting partner of the national community awards, recognising everyday Australians who contribute to the game.

• Support for women. Westpac will back initiatives to create new opportunities for women to get involved with cricket whether that’s on the field, in the stands or in the Board room. It will also support the creation of specific programs to grow female coaches, managers and executives in the sport.

• Support for inclusion cricket teams and tournaments. Westpac will become the presenting partner of the National Cricket Inclusion Championships and any international disability series in Australia. Westpac will support programs to create more opportunities for players who are blind or have low vision, are deaf or hard of hearing, or people with an intellectual disability.

• Support for First Nations talent. Westpac will become the presenting partner of the National Indigenous Cricket Championships and Indigenous international matches.
