The Brisbane Broncos are pleased to announce the contract extension of back rower, Jack Gosiewski, which will see him remain at the Club through the 2026 season.

The 31-year-old has endured a challenging 12 months since joining the Broncos mid-way through the 2024 season.

Arriving at Red Hill with almost 70 NRL games to his name, Gosiewski made six appearances for the Broncos before a fractured arm ruled him out for the remainder of the season.

A strong pre-season saw him return to start in the second row for the opening six games of 2025, before injuries again interrupted his campaign.

Despite suffering another fractured arm and broken collarbone this season, Gosiewski still made 14 appearances – scoring four tries, producing two lines breaks and one line break assist, while averaging 55 running metres per game.

Gosiewski said both Brisbane and the Broncos had come to feel like home over the past two seasons.

“The opportunities that I’ve had since being here, the staff and the players have all been amazing, so I’m very happy to stay,” he said.

“The support that I’ve had from the playing group and the Club while I’ve gone through injuries and family things has been incredible.

I couldn’t have done it without them to be honest – it was a struggle at some stages, but they were always there to pick me up and help me on my way.
