Curnow headlines three new Swans
We welcomed Charlie Curnow, Jai Serong and Malcolm Rosas Jnr to the red and white following the 2025 Continental Tyres Trade Period.
The Curnow trade came down to the wire, going through in the dying minutes of the trade period, after the club reached agreement with Carlton.
Meanwhile we’ve bolstered our backline by bringing in key defender Jai Serong from Hawthorn, and also welcomed speedy forward Malcolm Rosas Jnr joins from the Gold Coast Suns.
Swans farewell Hayward, Florent and Buller
Will Hayward and Oliver Florent came to Sydney together and will depart together, after each played 184 games in the red and white.
Hayward goes to the Blues as part of the trade for Charlie Curnow, while Florent departs in exchange for a future third-round pick. Both are much-loved members of the playing group who played in two Grand Finals. They depart as Sydney Swans Life Members.
Jack Buller also departs as part of a trade with Collingwood, and we’re grateful for his efforts during his time at the club.
Ally Morphett: “We know it’s a good test for us”
After getting back on the winner’s list after a win over Carlton last week, our AFLW team is back in action on Saturday, coming up against third-placed Melbourne at Casey Fields.
Ruck Ally Morphett appeared in a press conference on Friday, alongside Melbourne’s Maeve Chaplin.
Morphett spoke about tomorrow’s clash with the Dees, the importance of the next three games for the Swans’ finals chances and the significance of Pride Round.
