Bruno Silva looked better than ever earlier tonight (Sat., Oct. 18, 2025) at UFC Vancouver LIVE on ESPN+ from inside Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, stopping fellow flyweight contender Hyun Sung Park with a third-round submission (rear-naked choke).

Park, who was coming off a main event loss against Tatsuro Taira this past August, was the betting favorite entering this fight. Before his loss to Taira, Park was 10-0 in his professional career and coming off three-straight finishes to start his UFC tenure. Oddsmakers must have thought Park would revert back to his winning ways, but it was Silva who proved to be the better man with one of the best performances of his career.

Silva, who was coming off back-to-back knockout losses to Manel Kape and Joshua Van, offered a complete package Saturday night. From takedowns to landing combinations on the feet, Silva was dialed in. He gave little to no respect to Park on the feet and was in front almost the entire time.

Silva’s efforts came full circle in Round 3 when he secured a takedown and worked to Park’s back. From there, Silva sunk in a rear-naked choke that forced a pretty quick tap (Silva didn’t even have his hooks in). It was still a great showing for a flyweight contender who has a knack for finding a finish.
