1992.- Russian Yuri Arbachakov defeated Korean Yunun Chin by decision in Tokyo, Japan. In this fight the WBC flyweight title was on the line.
2007.- In Cancun, Quintana Roo, Mexican Cristian Mijares defended his WBC super flyweight title by knocking out Franck Gorjoux in the first round.
2012.- American Danny Garcia was crowned WBC super lightweight champion by knocking out Mexican Erik Morales in the fourth round. This fight took place in Brooklyn, New York.
