Jack Draper should be completely rested and fully fit when 2026 gets underway.
Draper has made a change to his coaching team in recent weeks, and now, he’s back on the courts, hitting some balls ahead of his return.
Draper will leave the top 10 next week following title wins for Casper Ruud and Felix Auger-Aliassime in Stockholm and Brussels, respectively.
Other players have taken inspiration from Draper by cutting short their own seasons and with the ATP schedule currently extremely demanding, it might become the norm.

Draper has confirmed that he will return to action at the three-day UTS Grand Final in London in December.
After that, he will play at an exhibition in Macau and then attentions will turn to early-January when the bigger tournaments will be on his radar.
He might start the season by representing Great Britain at the United Cup but he has also been confirmed for the ATP 500 event in Adelaide.
The Adelaide International is a tournament that Draper knows well having lost to Jiri Lehecka in the final back in 2024.
Last year, Auger-Aliassime claimed the title with Draper opting to skip the tournament ahead of the first Grand Slam of the year.
Draper will hope to prove fitness in 2026
Despite his tender years, Draper has already encountered a few issues physically.
Before getting injured at the US Open, Draper pulled out of two tournaments after picking up an injury at Wimbledon.
Draper has even alluded to the fact that he needs to get stronger and there will be hope among his contingent of fans that this break has done him the world of good.
The youngster reached the semifinal of the US Open in 2024 but was physically sick on the court, with Jannik Sinner showcasing just how fit you need to be to compete at the top level.
However, Draper is definitely going to make waves in the future and it will be fascinating to see what shape he’s in when he returns to action.
