For riders chasing a compact yet capable cycling computer that won’t break the bank, iGPSPORT’s BSC300T makes a strong case. Built on the BSC300 platform but upgraded with a colour touchscreen, it adds features while keeping the price in check. After testing, I was pleasantly surprised by its performance – especially considering it comes in at roughly half the price of iGPSPORT’s BiNavi, which we recently reviewed.

First impressions
Packaged in a slim, minimalist box, the BSC300T immediately feels compact yet more refined than its predecessor, with sleeker styling and a noticeably more premium finish. It features six physical buttons – a smart inclusion, as while the new touchscreen is responsive, having buttons ensures precision in all conditions. One small omission is that no USB-C cable is included, though most riders will already have plenty on hand. Like all iGPSPORT devices, it uses a Garmin-style mounting system and ships with a single mount.
Display and usability
The standout change is the 2.4-inch colour touchscreen. Bright, sharp, and responsive even in direct sunlight, it makes navigation quick and intuitive. The inclusion of buttons means you can still operate it reliably in poor conditions or while wearing gloves – a best-of-both-worlds approach that some rivals at this price point don’t offer.
The interface is clean and easy to customise. You can set up multiple data pages with metrics such as speed, cadence, power, heart rate, and elevation. Page transitions are smooth, and the device reacts quickly to swipes or button presses.
Features and connectivity
Despite its compact size, the BSC300T is well equipped. It connects to sensors via ANT+ and Bluetooth, pairing seamlessly with heart rate monitors, cadence sensors, power meters, smart trainers, and even iGPSPORT’s lights. The device syncs with the iGPSPORT app, allowing you to review ride data, set up routes, and upload to platforms like Strava or TrainingPeaks. Pairing is fast and reliable, and firmware updates are delivered over the air.
Navigation and performance
The BSC300T offers turn-by-turn navigation with offline maps. Routes can be uploaded easily via the app, and the unit provides clear on-screen prompts. While the smaller screen means maps aren’t as detailed as premium models, the colour display and responsive zoom make it more than adequate for most training and adventure rides.
GPS accuracy is strong. The unit locked onto satellites quickly and tracked consistently, even under tree cover or in built-up areas. Elevation and gradient readings were reliable, and syncing post-ride to Strava showed no discrepancies compared to higher-priced units.
Battery life is another strength. Rated for up to 20 hours, it comfortably lasted multiple long rides without a recharge. For most riders, that means only topping it up once or twice weekly.
Everyday use

In daily riding, the BSC300T is straightforward and dependable. The colour screen is easy to read at a glance, and moving between data pages is smooth and responsive. Custom layouts make prioritising the metrics you need simple, and sensor connections stayed stable throughout testing. Battery life was also consistent, lasting through multiple long rides before needing a recharge.
Value
Perhaps the most impressive aspect is the price. At around half the cost of the BiNavi, it delivers an experience that feels much closer to that high-end model than expected. For budget-conscious riders or those wanting a reliable, compact unit without paying a premium, the BSC300T is hard to ignore.
Verdict
The iGPSPORT BSC300T proves you don’t need to spend top dollar to get a well-designed, feature-rich cycling computer. With its bright colour touchscreen, broad sensor compatibility, reliable navigation, and strong battery life, it covers the needs of most riders. It may lack a few advanced features of its pricier sibling, but for the money, the value is hard to beat.
