Estevao Willian is unlikely to be the last Brazil international who joins Chelsea.

In recent transfer windows, Chelsea have signed the likes of Estevao and Joao Pedro, who have both managed to make an immediate impact at the club.

The former recently scored in the Blues’ 2-1 win against Liverpool, while the latter bagged three goals at the Club World Cup. Pedro is suspended for Wednesday night’s match versus Benfica, though, so he will not be able to add to his tally in that game.

It is now being reported that Chelsea could make a move for another Brazilian when the market reopens in the new year.

Chelsea signed Pedro to play up front, while the Club World Cup winners also have Liam Delap, but it is thought that they have Palmeiras striker Vitor Roque on their radar.

According to Goal, Chelsea are interested in Roque and are considering making an offer for the 20-year-old in the January transfer window.

However, they could encounter a couple of hurdles in their bid to sign Roque from Palmeiras.

Goal’s report claims that Premier League and London rivals Tottenham Hotspur are also interested, while the player has reservations about returning to Europe during a World Cup year.

Roque had previously been on Barcelona’s books but had a difficult time at the Spotify Camp Nou. In total, he made just 16 appearances for the Spanish club before joining Palmeiras permanently earlier this year.

In 2024, it had been claimed that Roque was offered to Chelsea by intermediaries.

Roque did struggle at Barcelona after scoring just two goals during his time at the club. At Palmeiras, the centre-forward has fared much better.

In Palmeiras’ current campaign, Roque has been able to score 13 goals in 26 league appearances. It is not a bad return, but the question is whether he can replicate it in Europe.

Chelsea or Tottenham fans may get the opportunity to find out in 2026.
