Alex de Minaur has shaken off injury to return to the ATP Tour this week, with the Australian playing at the Vienna Open.
And the world number seven has already enjoyed a significant moment in Austria, with De Minaur claiming his 300th ATP Tour win.
He defeated Jurij Rodionov 6-4, 6-1 in his opening match, earning De Minaur a round of 16 tie with Filip Misolic at the Vienna Open.
De Minaur shared his concern about a hip injury shortly before the tournament, with the issue forcing him out of the most recent Ultimate Tennis Showdown event.
Ten-time ATP champion De Minaur withdrew from UTS Hong Kong at the last minute, but he’s now set for a fitting return at the event run by Patrick Mouratoglou.

As per the UTS on Instagram, De Minaur has received a wildcard to compete in the Grand Final later this year.
The tournament takes place in London’s Copper Box Arena in December, and also features British number one Jack Draper.
Their fellow ATP stars Casper Ruud, Andrey Rublev, Tomas Machac, Francisco Cerundolo, David Goffin and Adrian Mannarino complete the eight-man field.
De Minaur won the UTS Grand Final last year, battling past Dane Holger Rune 3-0 in their meeting in London.

It’s certainly an exciting lineup for the UTS London Grand Final 2025, with De Minaur and Draper headlining the field.
The former is currently ranked seventh on the ATP Tour, with the latter just two spots behind in ninth place.

But Draper has ended his ATP season due to injury, with UTS fans hopeful he and De Minaur will be fit enough to take on the upcoming event in December.
Both players have enjoyed strong seasons in 2025 despite their injury issues, and the Australian’s should continue at the ATP Finals next month, although he is yet to qualify.
