Nylander went to the dressing room after falling in the front-end of Toronto’s home-and-home with the Sabres in Buffalo Friday night. After the game head coach Craig Berube told reporters “we’ll see” when asked about the star forward’s status for Saturday.

Nylander had a goal in 17:39 of ice time as the Leafs went on to lose 5-3. Regardless of whether or not he plays in the back-to-back, forward Nick Robertson will draw into the lineup, TSN’s Mark Masters reports.

Rielly did not play Friday due to an undisclosed injury.

The Leafs enter play Saturday 3-4-1 having picked up seven points in eight games.
