Fight of the Night: Ludovit Klein def. Mateusz Rebecki
Ludovit Klein (24-5-1 MMA, 8-3-1 UFC) and Mateusz Rebecki (20-4 MMA, 4-3 UFC) put on one of the bloodiest fights in recent memory on the prelims. Klein did great work for 10 minutes, but in the third round, he said after the fight from a stool-based interview, he broke his ankle. That kept him unable to get up while Rebecki mounted a comeback – including a 10-8 round that got him a draw from one judge. But the other two judges scored the third a 10-9, and Klein took a majority decision.

Performance of the Night: Valter Walker
Valter Walker (15-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC) came into his heavyweight fight with Louie Sutherland (10-4 MMA, 0-1 UFC) with three straight heel hook finishes – which never had been done before in the history of the UFC. A fourth would be ludicrous, right? But that’s just what he did – even though Sutherland knew it was coming. Despite the absurdity of four straight heel hooks, he’s only been given bonuses for the most recent two.

Performance of the Night: Quillan Salkilld
Quillan Salkilld (10-1 MMA, 3-0 UFC) took a short-notice fight against Nasrat Haqparast (18-6 MMA, 10-5 UFC) and came to Abu Dhabi from Australia. Midway through the first round, he landed a head kick that had Haqparast unconscious before his head hit the canvas. He was out for quite a bit, too, in one of the scariest knockouts the UFC has seen this year – and one sure to be talked about in two months during end-of-the-year awards.
