Given the nature of six teams on bye, plus six more removed with Thursday, Sunday and Monday night games, we’re scraping by in Week 8’s Sunday DFS play. Compounding all of that is an injury-ravaged crop of receivers as well as a few missing quarterbacks and running backs of note. Be judicious with your monetary investments in Week 8, and consider this a fine time to tinker with lineup builds!

We have assembled a daily fantasy sports (DFS) lineup build to put some extra cash in your pocket via DraftKings fantasy football contests for the Sunday afternoon slate of games. In addition, we’ll highlight several value buys who are not included in this lineup.

My Favorite DraftKings Fantasy Football Lineup for Week 8 DFS

Understanding what you’re looking for out of a DFS lineup is paramount. The size of the contest, scope of the competition, and your desired range of outcomes all heavily weigh in. Tweaks will be recommended as they arise, but all final decisions should be based on your level of comfort.

QB Bo Nix, Denver Broncos vs. Dallas Cowboys ($6,000): While some other options were strongly considered, such as Jaxson Dart and even Kirk Cousins, Nix has the weapons and rushing ability to threaten the QB1 overall spot this week.

RB Jonathan Taylor, Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans ($9,500): The matchup is prime, and Taylor has been cookin’ everyone in sight this year. These teams met in Week 3, when JT obliterated the Titans for 32.8 PPR points. Consider 25-ish a win.

RB Bijan Robinson, Atlanta Falcons vs. Miami Dolphins ($8,800): An excellent matchup for arguably the best back in the business … what’s not to love?!? This lineup build intentionally spent up for RBs, particularly because of the matchups but also for chalk purposes.

WR Wan’Dale Robinson, New York Giants at Philadelphia Eagles ($5,200): Dart’s top target has a favorable matchup for PPR work, and even if he’s not a world-beater vs. Philly, be content with WR2 returns given this RB-heavy build.

WR Darnell Mooney, Atlanta Falcons vs. Miami Dolphins ($4,400): Kirk Cousins is expected to start and reunite with Mooney after the pair showed chemistry last year that we have yet to see between the Tulane receiver and Michael Penix Jr. Mooney presents upside a bargain price, especially if Drake London (hip) misses this one.

WR Marvin Mims Jr., Denver Broncos vs. Dallas Cowboys ($3,900): Somewhat of a deliberate flier mixed with cost-savings utility. Dallas has been atrocious vs. WRs in 2025, and losing Trevon Diggs to IR this week can’t hurt Mims’ cause.

TE Colston Loveland, Chicago Bears at Baltimore Ravens ($3,000): Baltimore’s defense has permitted TEs the eighth-most fantasy points per game on the year and five players have scored at least 9.8 PPR points, which could be an acceptable floor at this price with such a thin slate of players. Be hopeful Loveland breaks out with Cole Kmet absent this week.

FLEX WR Zay Flowers, Baltimore Ravens vs. Chicago Bears ($5,400): Even with QB Snoop Huntley starting for Baltimore, this matchup is just too tasty for me to pass on Flowers. Chicago is decimated at cornerback, and Flowers should work them.

D/ST Indianapolis Colts vs. Tennessee Titans ($3,800): Spending down a little at QB and significantly so at wide receiver affords you the ability to spend up for the top defensive matchup of the week.
