For the last few months, it has been heavily rumoured in the media that Korean Superstar Ma Dong-seok, aka Don Lee, is set to play a pivotal role in Prabhas’s upcoming film, Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. However, the makers haven’t confirmed the news officially.
Meanwhile, the latest reports in the Korean media confirmed that Don Lee is making his Indian cinema debut with Spirit and cited it as the reason for his recent visit to India. The report cited that the film showcases Don Lee as the antagonist. This news is making Prabhas fans go crazy, and they can’t stop talking about it and spreading the news on social media.
According to the Korean Media house Muko’s report, Don Lee’s Indian cinema debut is confirmed. The translation of its report reads as follows: “The film, titled Spirit, is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and features Prabhas, known as Baahubali, in a dark-toned detective crime drama. It is heard that Dong-seok’s role in this film is a character who will be against the role of Prabhas.”
With this report, it remains to be seen if Spirit makers announce Don Lee’s entry into the project officially. As of now, the confirmed cast of Spirit includes Tripti Dimri, Prakash Raj and Vivek Oberoi. The film is bankrolled jointly by Bhadrakali Pictures and T-Series Films. The regular shoot is expected to begin soon.
