AirTrunk has inked a $US3 billion deal to build a data centre precinct in Saudi Arabia with artificial intelligence giant Humain, in its first foray into the Middle East.

Under the agreement, Blackstone-owned AirTrunk will build and operate a data centre with Humain, which is best known for its Arabic multimodal large language models and is owned by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, the Public Investment Fund.
