Last year was a bit of a letdown for the University of Connecticut, who were coming off two consecutive championships. They wound up finishing the season 24-11 after a close loss to the Florida Gators in the second round of the NCAA tournament. In 2025, the Huskies look to take back their crown and win their third title in four years. Read on to discover where to watch UConn basketball games live this season.

It’s no question that the Huskies didn’t live up to their own expectations last season. Inconsistent defensive play, sloppy turnovers, and an apparent lack of chemistry plagued UConn all season long, although they still had the talent to hang with some of the best teams in the nation. After the season came to an end, head coach Dan Hurley confessed that the pressure of trying to win a third-straight title took a toll.
In that sense, entering the 2025 season with a clean slate could be a breath of fresh air for a rejuvenated UConn men’s team. Their roster looks deep and well-balanced on paper. To address last year’s point guard concerns, they brought in University of Georgia transfer Silas Demary Jr., a 6’4″ playmaker who can defend multiple positions and score at all three levels. Returning guard Solo Ball is a deadeye shooter who puts pressure on opposing defenses with relentless off-ball movement. These two juniors provide a dangerous mix of playmaking, driving, and shooting for UConn’s backcourt.
On the wing is Braylon Mullins, the 6’5″ freshman wing who has one of the highest NBA potentials of any current Husky. A smart, tough, and fearless shooter, he should help open up UConn’s offense with his ability to score in transition and knock down threes.
The frontcourt will be anchored by two returning seniors: forward Alex Karaban and center Tarris Reed Jr. They’ll both need to take a step forward if UConn wants to compete with some of the top teams in the NCAA.
The Huskies should have a lot of lineup flexibility this season. Transfer guard Malachi Smith is an exceptional playmaker with a ton of experience. Jaylin Stewart and Jayden Ross are two 6’7″ forwards who can move up and down the lineup. Jacob Furphy and Eric Reibe, a pair of fascinating freshmen, are other names to keep an eye on in UConn’s deep rotation.
You can watch every game on the UConn men’s basketball schedule live with ESPN Unlimited, Paramount+, Hulu + Live TV, and more. Exact team schedules are decided by networks during the season and are subject to change. Blackout restrictions may apply depending on your location.
