Ryan Wohl gives his picks for this week’s UFC Fight Night: Garcia vs. Onama.
This Saturday at the UFC Apex, two streaking top-15 Featherweight contenders, Steve Garcia and David Onama, are looking to increase their win streaks. Onama has won four straight while Garcia has a six-fight unbeaten streak. No. 6 Waldo Cortes-Acosta and No. 9 Ante Delija are facing each other in a three-round Heavyweight contest in the co-main event.
The Prelims begin at 4:00 p.m. ET, with the Main Card starting at 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN+ PPV. Check out my favorite fighters to add to your daily fantasy lineup for UFC Fight Night: Garcia vs. Onama.

Steve Garcia ($8,300)
Steve Garcia is coming off a win over Calvin Kattar and now faces another 145-pound fighter on the rise in David Onama. During Garcia’s recent winning streak, he has totaled 94-plus points in five of six contests. On paper, this is an extremely close fight, as Garcia holds a one-inch height and standing reach advantage.
On the feet, both fighters are good strikers, and Onama lands slightly more significant strikes per minute (5.24 vs. 5.18) at a better rate (50% vs. 48%). The most crucial gap in the striking department is defense, where Garcia has allowed 1.53 fewer significant strikes per minute than Onama.
Onama does have power, but he has only had two knockouts in his previous six victories. In comparison, Garcia has five knockouts in his last six bouts, with all of them coming in the first two rounds. If Garcia can utilize his elite takedown defense to make this a strictly stand-up fight, it will greatly benefit him. That is because Garcia excels when he is aggressive and forces his opponent to move backwards. When Garcia pushes the pace, he has proved to be an elite fantasy contributor and has an excellent opportunity to do the same on Saturday.
Ante Delija ($8,000)
Ante Delija is a training partner of UFC Heavyweight Champion Tom Aspinall and is coming off a first-round knockout victory against Marcin Tybura in his UFC debut. Delija possesses an elite finishing ability, similar to Aspinall’s, with 19 career wins by submission or knockout.
His opponent, Walso Cortes-Acosta, averages 5.61 significant strikes per minute but lacks the power that Delja has. Delja had 106 fantasy points in his first UFC fight against Tybura. Although Delija hasn’t been in the promotion for long, he still has a ton of high-level experience. Delija is a former PFL Champion and competed in the PFL from 2019 to 2024.
In this matchup, Delija has double the number of fights in his career than Cortes-Acosta has. Cortes-Acosta excels in slower-paced fights when he dictates the pace. Delija must make Cortes-Acosta uncomfortable from the start of the bout, and if he does so, another 100-plus outing is very possible.
Phil Rowe ($7,400)
Phil Rowe has been in the UFC since 2021, posting a 4-2 record in the promotion. Rowe is coming off a knockout victory against Ange Loosa in June. Rowe returns to face Seokhyeon Ko, who most recently beat Oban Elliott in June.
On paper, Rowe has a massive advantage: he is four inches taller (6’3″ vs. 5’10”) and has a nine-inch reach advantage (80″ vs. 71″). It is rare to see a fight with such a wide reach gap. Rowe’s best skill is on the feet, where he lands nearly four significant strikes per minute.
Rowe is the sixth-lowest-priced fighter on this card at $7,400, but he is coming off a 93-point performance and possesses upside. Rowe has recorded at least 78 fantasy points in four of his previous six contests.
