Ronda Rousey got “Rowdy” during a recent podcast appearance with Bert Kreischer, talking mad s–t towards MMA fans, Khabib Nurmagomedov, and even Joe Rogan.

We’ve known about Ronda’s disdain towards the average UFC fan for years … she’s still salty after they turned on her following her brutal losses a decade ago. While speaking with Kreischer, she castigated fans for having no respect for MMA legends … and then showed no respect at all to Khabib Nurmagomedov. She then dismissed Joe Rogan as a know-nothing that never really fought.

Rogan came up as Bert playfully suggested a Rousey vs. Kreischer fight. He said he’d texted Joe asking how long he’d have to train to beat Ronda.

“He wouldn’t know,” Rousey interrupted. “He’s not an expert, he’s a fan with an audience.”

“He never fought,” Rousey added with a shrug. When Kreischer brought up Joe’s Taekwondo experience she laughed. “Never fought. That’s not fighting. That’s not fighting.”

Ronda is no stranger to stirring the pot. Back in her heyday she used to make headlines all the time for her brash opinions, like the times she called out ‘Do-Nothing Bitches’ ‘looking to f–k millionaires’ and threatened to kick Kim Kardashian’s ass. She came for the queen, now she’s coming for the king.

What makes this attack so strange is that Rogan was one of Rousey’s biggest supporters, infamously declaring during her prime that she could beat Floyd Mayweather in a fight. He’s nearly came to tears multiple times talking about how good she was. And now she’s throwing him under the bus? That’s cold.

It is interesting to see these kinds of comments actually ripple across the internet again. During her height, every catty Rousey comment generated endless engagement and even high profile think pieces from major publications. But following her two losses and subsequent disappearing act, she never regained her place in the cultural zeitgeist. She’s the Game of Thrones of combat sports: people just stopped talking about her.

For the first time in years, her barbs are starting to stick in mainstream consciousness again. It’s no surprise this is happening just as rumors keep surfacing that she’s considering an MMA comeback. With Kreischer, she played down those rumors, claiming it would take a billion dollars to draw her back into the cage.

“I have everything I want,” Rousey said. “There’s nothing that would really change my lifestyle. If you said a billion dollars, I would do it.”
