KGM joined the black and white family this year as a Premier Partner in the automotive category and will hold the naming rights of Collingwood’s headquarters at Olympic Park for at least the next three years.
The Korean automotive manufacturer has an iconic and proud history spanning over 70 years.
KGM vehicles are renowned for their quality, reliability, and outstanding performance, offering various designs to suit all needs. Notably, the KGM Musso has won the Drive Car of the Year Best Dual Cab Ute Under $50k award for the past two years.
In 2018, in recognition of the importance of the local market in Australia, KGM Australia opened its National Head Office and National Parts Distribution Centre in Melbourne.
Collingwood CEO Craig Kelly said:
“We were thrilled to have KGM come on board earlier this year, and it’s exciting for us to take this partnership to the next level, with our headquarters now named the KGM Centre,”
“Our high-performance facility underpins everything we do as a Club, from on-field preparation and training to all the work that goes behind the scenes, and KGM’s support further enhances this.
“We look forward to continuing this partnership and delivering exciting opportunities for both our Members and KGM customers.”
KGM Managing Director Joseph Lee said:
“The KGM brand has a strong footprint in Australia in terms of our dealership network and now we are pleased to be part of such a historical venue as Olympic Park becomes the KGM Centre and we continue to strengthen our commitment to the Australian market.”
KGM National Marketing Manager Steve Dimitrovski said:
“As a Premier Partner of the Collingwood Football Club, we are thrilled to have the KGM Centre as the Pies’ home and also be part of one of the world’s greatest sporting precincts.”
Former naming rights partner, AIA Vitality, will remain a key partner to the Collingwood Football Club, with the insurance company to continue promoting healthier, better and longer lives supporting both Collingwood fans and club athletes.
