Brooke Warne wore a surprising outfit to Derby Day.

The daughter of late spin king Shane Warne attended the first day of Melbourne’s Flemington Spring Carnival wearing a chic mini-dress with an attached sheer cape and white floral detail on her waist.

A hat completed the stylish look for the event, where the theme is monochrome.

Speaking trackside to nine.com.au, Brooke explained that she bought her outfit, and it wasn’t given to her.

The 27-year-old also had her fascinator designed especially for today’s races.

The pillbox hat had a long white bow attached at the back.

“Today I’m wearing a custom Millinery Jill headpiece, which I’m obsessed with,” Brooke added.

She also wore shoes from a Melboune company.

“I’ve got on my Dolci Firme shoes, which are literally the most comfortable shoes ever.

“I could wear them for 12-hours straight, they’re perfect for a day like today.”

Brooke shared a behind-the-scenes look at her outfit to her 88,000 Instagram followers.

She has been a frequent guest at the racetrack during Melbourne’s spring racing season.

Her father, star cricketer Shane Warne, died suddenly in 2022.

This year, Brooke attended Derby Day as an ambassador for Ronald McDonald House.
