The first weekend of November has arrived, which means the race to the College Football Playoff is officially heating up. Nineteen of the teams currently ranked in the AP Top 25 poll will be in action on Saturday, including three ranked-on-ranked contests.

Entering the season, the matchup between No. 1 Ohio State and Penn State was expected to loom large for both the CFP and Big Ten races. However, Penn State fired coach James Franklin last month and is closer to missing a bowl game entirely than returning to the CFP. No. 9 Vanderbilt will also be in action during the first window of the day against No. 20 Texas.

During the afternoon slate, No. 2 Indiana will be in action against Maryland at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS. Another big-time matchup during the same window will be “World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party” between No. 5 Georgia and Florida.

The final window of the day is full of intriguing matchups, with the headliner being a clash between No. 18 Oklahoma and No. 14 Tennessee. No. 23 USC will look to keep its CFP hopes alive when it faces Nebraska on the road at 7:30 p.m. ET.

CBS Sports will be here every step of the way to update you with the latest scores, highlights and storylines throughout the evening. All times Eastern
