Todd’s early years

Todd was born to humble and hardworking parents Kevin, a police officer, and Barbara, a hairdresser.

Mum Barbara was an avid tennis player, playing three times a week. Todd recalled growing up in the 70s hanging around the tennis courts and becoming “infatuated” with the game.

At 13, Todd boarded at Normanhurst Boys High for one year. Todd “hated” the experience but with the desire to become a great tennis player, he pushed through.

Todd then left home and “never went back” at 14 to go to the Australian Institute of Sport.

It was game, set, love when Todd locked eyes with the love of his life Natasha when they were 18 and 16 respectively.

Natasha grew up with a famous tennis player sibling Nicole Provis. Nicole and Todd had organised a dinner and invited Natasha along.

They married at 21 and 24, and celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in April 2025.

Together, Todd and Natasha are parents to Zara, 24, and Beau, 23.
