One of the most anticipated UFC events of 2025 is less than two weeks away, and the promotion has once again updated the bout order for UFC 322.

The Nov. 15 fight card at Madison Square Garden in New York (ESPN+ pay-per-view, ESPNews, Disney+, FX, ESPN+) features two championship fights at the top of the card, with welterweight titleholder Jack Della Maddalena (18-2 MMA, 8-0 UFC) set to defend vs. Islam Makhachev (27-1 MMA, 16-1 UFC) in the main event, while women’s flyweight queen Valentina Shevchenko (25-4-1 MMA, 14-3-1 UFC) puts gold on the line vs. Zhang Weili (26-3 MMA, 10-2 UFC) in the co-headliner.

Initially, the organization announced the five-fight main card would feature the return of middleweight prospect Bo Nickal (7-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC), who looks to rebound from his first career loss in a showdown with Rodolfo Vieira (11-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC). His inclusion on the most prominent part of the card sparked some outrage from MMA fans, who felt the lightweight bout with Beneil Dariush (23-6-1 MMA, 17-6-1 UFC) vs. Benoit Saint Denis (15-3 MMA, 7-3 UFC) was more worthy.

Apparently someone in a position of power at UFC agreed, because during Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 263 broadcast, a revised bout order for UFC 322 was revealed, with Nickal vs. Vieira being demoted into the featured preliminary-card slot and Dariush vs. Saint Denis being elevated.
