Embedded above, Vivo’s smartphone model numbers typically contain ‘A’ suffixes, as was the case with the V2509A and V2502DA that eventually became the X300 and X300 Pro, respectively. By contrast, the former’s global variant drops the ‘A’ suffix altogether with the model number V2515.  Although the IMEI database does not name the Vivo X300 Ultra directly, several typically reliable sources have inferred that V2562 relates to the X300 Ultra rather than another forthcoming Vivo smartphone.

Currently, the X300 Ultra is expected to line up with Qualcomm’s latest flagship mobile chipset, just like the X200 Ultra before it. On top of that, the X300 Ultra has been rumoured to contain a 200 MP and 35 mm primary camera based on Samsung’s ISOCELL IMX09E sensor. Apparently, Vivo plans to complement this sensor with 50 MP front-facing, 200 MP telephoto (ISOCELL HPB) and 50 MP ultra-wide-angle (Sony LYT-828) cameras.
