The Art Gallery of Western Australia was transformed into a glitter-drenched, Studio 54-inspired playground for its sold-out ArtBall — a night of music, dancing and creativity.

Spread across two levels and multiple dance floors, 750 guests enjoyed a frivolous soiree which opened with a performance from WA Ballet’s principal dancer, Juan Carlos Osma.

DJ Sunshine and the Disco Faith Choir soon lit up the crowd, before disco DJ Tanzer and a line-up of some of Connections’ best DJs pumped out disco bangers.

Among the sequins and sparkle was artist Paola Pivi, whose exhibition opens at AGWA on November 8.
