UFC 320 gains a fun matchup at bantamweight.

Farid Basharat is set to take on Chris Gutierrez at the event taking place Oct. 4 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The event features two title fights, headlined by a light heavyweight title rematch between Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira. Merab Dvalishvili faces Cory Sandhagen in the co-feature for the bantamweight title.

MMA Junkie confirmed the booking between Basharat (13-0 MMA, 4-0 UFC) and Gutierrez (22-5-2 MMA, 10-3-1 UFC) with two sources. Both fighters competed in 145-pound bouts in their last outing, but will return to 135 pounds. The promotion has not yet officially announced the matchup.

Basharat, a Dana White’s Contender Series veteran, is undefeated in his professional career. He has turned heads through his first four UFC fights, picking up decision wins over Da’Mon Blackshear, Taylor Lapilus, and Victor Hugo, along with a first-round submission of Kleydson Rodrigues. This will be his first fight of the year.

Gutierrez dropped his UFC debut, but then when on a hot streak, putting together an eight-fight unbeaten run. He enters his second fight of 2025 on a two-fight winning streak with wins over Quang Le and John Castaneda.
