Sources claim Prince William is King in “all but name” after taking charge of the Andrew Mountbatten Windsor scandal.

William was allegedly the driving force behind ousting Andrew, and did it “in two weeks.”

FYI, Andrew is allegedly walking away with a “handsome” payout.

Sources are out here claiming that Prince William was the real mastermind behind King Charles’ statement announcing that FKA Prince Andrew would be losing his titles and going by Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.

One insider tells The Royalist (via the Daily Beast) that “Charles has been trying and failing to get Andrew out of Royal Lodge for the past three years. William did it in two weeks. William is king in all but name now.”

A friend of William’s adds that the royal was “dismayed” by the initial announcement that Andrew would simply be giving up his “Duke of York” title, while another acquaintance says, “This is Andrew, so the solution was always going to be a payoff. This is his father’s mess, and William wanted it cleaned up on his father’s watch.”

So, how, exactly, was the Andrew scandal “cleaned up”? On top of losing his Prince title, he’s been exiled to Sandringham, where he’ll live in one of the many fancy cottages on the property. The catch? The Royalist reports that Andrew is actually walking away with a “handsome” payoff worth millions as a result of agreeing to leave the Royal Lodge. Oh, and King Charles is paying for his move….
