The dance floor is filling up at The Elms live stage, where dance music trio PNAU are on stage.

The official crowd for today was 84,374.

Known for hits like Chameleon and Go Bang, the Sydney-based group first formed in the 1990s.

UK R&B singer Craig David is locked in to perform here on Oaks Day, and Australian DJ FISHER will be up on Stakes Day.

Many a fascinator can be seen in the crowd, along with plenty of alcohol, loosened ties, and lots of singing.

Many people are busy busting a move.

The place is also teeming with security guards and police to make sure there’s no funny business.

A grey haired lady was having a great time grooving along while sitting on someone’s shoulders near the back of the crowd.

She was quickly told to get down by security, to loud boos from the nearby audience. But vibes are high.

“It’s been a good day. And it’s going to be an even better night,” frontman Nick Littlemore yells into the mic.
