Media power couple Lisa Wilkinson and her husband, Peter FitzSimons, have purchased a four-bedroom penthouse in Mosman after selling their long-time Cremorne family home, local sources have confirmed.

The former Today show co-host and the former Wallaby-turned-author (who now writes for this masthead) won’t have to do any gardening, snapping up the top-floor apartment with a full-length rooftop in February for a price understood to be a multimillion-dollar figure in the mid-teens. The exact sum will be revealed at settlement.

It’s understood the pair are thrilled to have secured the property and were drawn to the sandstone exterior and its spectacular views from Mosman Bay, to the eastern suburbs, CBD and beyond.

Both Wilkinson and FitzSimons were unavailable for comment.

The abode is in a sandstone building that was constructed in 1914 and comes with a teppanyaki barbecue and bathtub on the rooftop.

The exact sale price will be revealed at settlement.
