THROUGH all the change Dick Johnson Racing has undergone, there’s set to be a familiar face still around in 2026.
V8 Sleuth understands Tony D’Alberto is in line to be retained by DJR for an 11th consecutive Supercars Championship enduro campaign.
D’Alberto, who turns 40 next month, is an immensely popular figure in the Shell V-Power Racing camp, having been reliable through its title-winning Penske phase and into subsequent rebuilds.
A TCR Australia champion and former Supercars full-timer, he did have a rare shocker this enduro season, collecting two penalties in The Bend 500 (one for contact, one for pitlane speeding) and then crashing out of the Repco Bathurst 1000.
But DJR is backing its man to bounce back, having routinely done a stellar job with minimal fuss.

D’Alberto has been part of two Great Race podium results for DJR, in 2017 with Fabian Coulthard and 2023 with Anton De Pasquale.
He would next year co-drive with Will Davison’s replacement Rylan Gray, offering an experienced hand to complement the teen come the longest races of his rookie season.
Todd Hazelwood will co-drive with Brodie Kostecki again in 2026, the pair having won this year’s Bend 500 and previously conquering Bathurst together for Erebus Motorsport.
Elsewhere in the co-driver market, Grove Racing and Dale Wood have parted ways, James Courtney is tipped to be joining Team 18, and Jaxon Evans has been heavily linked to the Walkinshaw Andretti United co-drive being vacated by Jayden Ojeda.
