ATP Metz Day 4 Predictions
Alexander Blockx vs Clement Tabur

Head-to-head – First Meeting

Alexander Blockx has gone from strength to strength this year as he looks in prime position to break the top 100. The Belgian is just 20 years old and is fresh off of a Challenger event win in Bratislava. He seems to have carried that form this week by beating Francesco Passaro in dominating fashion. He now faces Clement Tabur who has done well to qualify this week but Blockx seems to have a lot of momentum entering this match.

Prediction: Blockx in 2

Daniel Altmaier vs Hugo Gaston

Head-to-head – Altmaier 0-1 Gaston

This should be a pretty competitive match. Daniel Altmaier has had a decent year thus far and he takes on Hugo Gaston who has found some form in the challenger events he has played recently, winning one and reaching the final in another. They have met once before with Gaston winning last year. Altmaier should start strong and may over power from the baseline but Gaston coupled with the French crowd should have enough tricks in his bag to nab the win.

Prediction: Gaston in 3

Matteo Berrettini vs Aleksandar Vukic

Head-to-head – First Meeting

Matteo Berrettini looked really good in his first round win here winning in straight sets. He now faces Aleksandar Vukic who endure a tight three setter culminating in a third set tiebreak. Naturally he will be fatigued when he faces Berrettini especially on the indoor courts where the Italian uses his power game to the fullest.

Prediction: Berrettini in 2
