OLIVER Boone is set to make his Repco Supercars Championship race engineering debut at next week’s Penrite Oil Sandown 500.

V8 Sleuth understands the young gun will step up from data engineer to take the reins on Nick Percat’s #10 Bendix Camaro for the remainder of the season.

Boone, who got his first break with Garry Rogers Motorsport, notably guided Cameron Crick and Dean Campbell to victory in this year’s Bathurst 6 Hour.

Percat and Boone are known to get along well and with MSR out of the finals hunt, the reshuffle shapes as valuable experience for Boone ahead of a team reset for 2026.

Jack Bellotti, who combined with Percat for two race wins last year, will remain with the team as head of engineering.

The restructure could well be a preview to next season, when Jack Le Brocq rejoins the Yatala operation, with Boone and Caleb Mutsaerts operating under the watch of Bellotti and technical coordinator Paul Forgie.

Both Percat and Cameron Hill are on the way out of MSR, the former retiring as a full-timer and the latter off to Brad Jones Racing.

Zach Bates is widely expected to be Le Brocq’s 2026 teammate.
