CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – Harvard men’s tennis concluded two successful days on its home courts this weekend as it hosted the Battle of Boston.
First on Friday the Crimson first cruised through doubles beginning with Marc Ktiri and Kolos Kincses posting a nearly unblemished 6-1 win over Jaydon Barki and Adrian Quiros (BU). Noah Gilligan and Brick Johnson added another victory with a 6-3 defeat of Andrew Andea and Anish Sehgal (BU).
Harvard then recorded an additional doubles win on day two as Rohan Murali and Kincses teamed up and took down Sehgal and Payton Jim-On (BU), 6-2.
Kincses and Ktiri each went 2-0 this weekend, dropping their opponents in dominant fashion. In total Kincses fell in seven games across four sets played and Ktiri, just six.
James MacDonald recorded his first win of the 2025-26 season battling through a three-set (6-4, 5-7, 6-1) match against Barki.
Noah Gilligan registered his first collegiate singles win in style, defeating Ege Topkoc (BU), 6-1, 6-0 on day two.
The final win of the weekend came courtesy of Rohan Murali as the junior cruised past Jim-On in straight sets while only dropping one game.
