Gervonta Davis has been given little chance of beating Manny Pacquiao despite their vast age gap.
While many think Davis’ power and age would see him through against boxing icon Pacquiao, Tim Bradley stands firm in his belief that the latter has a chance at beating the 30-year-old.

Pacquiao has himself called out Davis
There were similar concerns around Pacquiao’s power before he faced his 30-year-old opponent Mario Barrios, but his valiant performance seemed to prove them irrelevant.
The Filipino superstar’s bout with Barrios ended in a draw, although many thought the 46-year-old was unfortunate to not earn victory.
Following his comeback draw, he has made it very clear that he intends to continue fighting now.
And he previously named a fight with Davis as being on his dream hit-list before retiring once again.
When speaking to Fight Hub TV, Bradley explained why he thinks Pacquiao has the edge over ‘Tank’.
He said: “I know all y’all Tank fans are gonna come at me, ‘oh you don’t know’ – I’m telling you.
“And if he gets in that ring and he ain’t all the way focused, bro, he gonna get beat by Manny Pacquiao.
“If they’re gonna do it he’s gonna get beat by Manny Pacquiao if he ain’t all the way focused in the ring, seriously.”
Bradley criticised Davis, who currently holds the WBA lightweight belt, for not having the ability to exhibit the focus that Pacquiao brings to the ring.
He explained: “That’s my take on, Tank, man. I think he’s done. It’s the issues outside the ring. It’s the fact that he wants to change. He has a lot of things on his mind that he wants to do and he’s kind of sick of the sport of boxing.”

Davis was set to rematch Roach, but the bout is now in doubtCredit: GETTY
Davis was believed to be heading towards a rematch with Lamont Roach Jr, after their controversial bout in March where ‘Tank’ failed to secure victory for the first time in his career.
But the bout is now in doubt, given August is fast approaching and no date has yet been officially confirmed.
Although the opportunity to fight Pacquiao may result in a new course of action for Davis.
Who will Manny Pacquiao be fighting next?
With talks of a rematch with Barrios growing more unlikely, his advisor, Sean Gibbons, named two opponents that he’d rather see his man fight.
Gibbons told BoxingScene: “I don’t see why Barrios again. There’s [Rolando] Romero, ‘Tank’ Davis. Why do it again?”
Romero was believed to be the frontrunner of opponents for Pacquiao, but Ring Magazine recently reported that Ryan Garcia and Romero are closing in on an agreement for a sequel.
While nothing has been confirmed yet, other names that have been thrown into the mix for Pacquiao’s next bout are Shane Mosley and Floyd Mayweather.
