Kantara becomes the most-watched movie of the week with 4.1 million viewerships, surpassing Kalyani Priyadarshan’s Lokah this time. The action drama marks the prequel to the 2022 Kantara, delving deeper into the origins of the tradition and ancestral conflict introduced in the first flick. Kantara Chapter 1 grossed Rs 847.78 crore worldwide.

India’s first ever female superhero flick Lokah not only impressed Indian viewers, but also stunned outsiders as well. The Malayalam fantasy drama collected Rs 303.67 crore worldwide and became Mollywood’s top grosser of all time. As expected, Lokah even ruling the digital world with 4 million viewerships from last week. The movie follows a mysterious woman Chandra arrives in Karnataka and gets wrongfully entangled in organ trafficking.

This Telugu adventure drama follows a man named Vedha who discovers he’s the ‘chosen one’ dustined to protect nine sacred scriptures created by Emperor Ashoka after the Kalinga War from an evil sorcerer, Mahabir Lama, who wants to gain immortality. Mirai grossed Rs 141 crore worldwide and garnered 3.1 million viewerships from last week. The movie stars Teja Sajja as Vedha, along with Manchu Manoj, Jagapathi Babu, Jayaram, Shriya Saran, Ritika Nayak.

Dhanush’s this fourth directorial grossed Rs 71.85 crore worldwide and earned 2.4 million viewerships. The story follows a successful chef returns from abroad to him hometown village to run his late father’s idli shop while rediscovering his roots, family dynamics, and self-worth after achieving significant success. Idli Kadai stars Dhanush in the lead, along with Nithya Menen, Arun Vijay, Sathyaraj, P Samuthirakani, Shalini Pandey, Rajkiran, R Parthiban.

Tiger Shroff’s this movie achieved both A-rating and R-rating due to its violence, gore and blood-shedding. While Baaghi 4 marks Miss Universe 2021 Harnaaz Sandhu’s Bollywood debut, it also marks Punjabi actress Sonam Bajwa’s second Hindi flick. The action entertainer grossed Rs 77 crore worldwide and garnered 2 million viewerships.
