Medal-of-Medals competition, sponsored by Advantage Pharmacy
Excellent conditions greeted players for our ladies’ golf day playoff for the Medal of Medals title. The course was generally in good shape, though the greens—having been recently cored—were not yet completely reliable.
Players who have won a Monthly Medal throughout the year competed for the prestige of becoming our Medal of Medals Champion. We extend our warmest congratulations to Deb Rapp, the overall Nett winner! Deb has enjoyed a strong year of golf. A talented and dedicated player, she combines skill with a love for the social side of the game and is truly an inspiration to us all.

After four weeks overseas, I’m back on deck! Apologies for the quiet spell from Iluka. In October, five of our ladies travelled to Tenterfield for a two-day away golf tournament, where they enjoyed the fresh country air, a beautifully maintained course, and wonderful company from local and regional players.
The AGM was also held recently, with office bearers and committee members elected for the coming year — we wish them every success.
Our ladies are making the most of the remaining weeks of the season and are heading north for their next golfing adventure, this time staying a little closer to home with visits to Byron Bay and Ocean Shores.
Next Week: Single Stableford – Jean Parks Memorial Day.
With just two weeks of competition golf left, I’ll soon be wrapping things up for the year.
