Veteran NRL commentator Andrew Voss has paid a beautiful tribute to radio co-host Greg Alexander and his colleagues at SEN after signing off on his final Sydney breakfast show with the league legend on Friday. The pair had formed a popular partnership on SEN’s ‘Breakfast with Vossy and Brandy’ program since 2022, but will part ways in 2026 as Voss moves into a new timeslot on the network’s Sydney radio station.
Voss admitted that the gruelling early morning hours ‘took their toll’, but leaves with a degree of sadness after thoroughly enjoying his time on the program. SEN confirmed this week that Voss would move from the breakfast timeslot into a new morning program from Monday to Wednesday, plus a Thursday show (Vossy’s Verdict), which is set to air from 9am to midday next year.

‘Brandy’ Alexander will continue to lead the breakfast show from Monday to Thursday and will be joined by SEN colleague Jimmy Smith, who is moving from the afternoon program that he hosts in Sydney. Speaking ahead of Friday’s final show, Voss said it had been an honour working alongside Alexander after explaining the reasons behind his move.
“I have loved being with SEN Sydney since day one, and have particularly enjoyed working with the breakfast show team and alongside ‘Brandy’ Alexander,” Voss said. “The hours do, however, take their toll, and after five years I appreciate being given the opportunity to shift to the morning show timeslot.
“My plan is to jump out of the barriers from February and play my part in presenting a morning sports show strong in opinion but with a clear aim to have fun and entertain… I am a sports weirdo, you know! Sydney deserves a great sports network, and SEN has the team to deliver it.”

The respected NRL commentator, who juggles his broadcasting role with Fox League, also took to social media on Friday to thank his SEN colleagues for making it a ‘really special’ experience. “And that’s it. Our last episode of @VossyBrandySEN,” Voss posted on X. “They say if your career is doing something you love, you’ll never work a day in your life. I agree, but ….working with great people is what makes it really special.”

SEN Queensland breakfast hosts Corey Parker and Ian Healy also called in to the programme to wish Voss the best in his new timeslot and send their congratulations. And the veteran broadcaster said he was blessed to work with such a fun and energetic team who shares his love of rugby league.
“It’s all very sad but we’re very lucky what we do,” Voss said during the final show. “It doesn’t feel like work at all, apart from the hours it doesn’t feel like work at all. When we get together and do our segment it’s like four blokes at a bucks party, we just talk footy.”
‘Brandy’ presented Voss with a parting present during their final segment together – an ice cream maker which the veteran broadcaster seemed very excited about. And the league legend signed off with a lovely tribute to his breakfast radio co-cost, thanking Voss for enticing him to team up together on the airways.
“If it was anyone else I would have said no because you are the talented man that you are,” Alexander said. “The going away present is just a little bit of recognition for your genius because you are without doubt one of the best broadcasters I’ve listened to and then been privileged to work with.”

SEN’s changes for 2026 also include veteran journalist Adam Peacock hosting his own show during the midday-3pm shift. Morning show host Matt White is stepping away after five years with the network, while former Raiders captain Jarrod Croker is set to team up with Mat Rogers on the evening program. Croker replaces Scott Sattler, who signed on with the Gold Coast Titans as their new GM of football.
