Britney Spears is back on Instagram with a lengthy caption in which she promoted her new jewelry line and provided fans with “useless information.”
On Nov. 13, the pop princess shared a picture of what appear to be bracelets from her “B Tiny” line, which she’s been talking about for months.
“I’m so incredibly joyful about this project !!!!!! These are versions of what’s to come for my new jewelry line … it’s honestly exquisite in person !!! This pic doesn’t do justice at all … coming soon,” her caption began.
Spears then acknowledged that she recently shared a post that had a drug as the title but made it clear that the use of the song doesn’t mean she does drugs.
From there, Spears talked about going to the recording studio in Los Angeles. Though the timeline is unclear, she recalled stepping outside for “fresh air” when she would see an “attractive long haired man smoking a blunt.” Now, she knows it was Robin Thicke but she “never knew.”
Spears also shared “more useless information” with fans.
“I had a split with a guy years ago that was pretty public … I was supposed to do a new album and the name of my first single at 23 was EXTASY written by me and Pharrell … it’s PERSPECTIVE in my mom and dads care for 15 years which felt illegal … I honestly don’t think I was even here … I actually use to be famous and popular and pretty shocking !!!!!!” she wrote.
It’s unclear who Spears was referring to in regard to her public breakup, but she would have been married to Kevin Federline in 2005 — when she was 23.
In November 2003, Spears released In the Zone, an album that featured a variety of collaborations, though none with Pharrell. She wouldn’t release her next studio album until Blackout in 2007, so it’s possible that there was an album slated for the time in between.
It’s unknown if “Extasy” was ever recorded.
