The NFL season rolls along today with three incredible matchups that could be playoff previews (Seahawks-Rams, Chiefs-Broncos and Lions-Eagles), plus a handful of other intriguing matchups worth checking out.
Below, I’ll dive into the case for the Ravens (-7.5) over the Browns, the Chargers (-3) over the Jaguars and the Cowboys (-3.5) over the Raiders on Monday Night Football.
Chargers (-3) at Jaguars — 1 p.m. (CBS)
After the Jaguars (5-4) got off to a 4-1 start, I wondered whether they could remain in playoff contention without continued turnover luck.
Jacksonville forced 14 (!) turnovers in its first five games, but it has only forced three in its last four. Sure enough, wins have been hard to come by since this team’s turnover luck dried up. The Jags’ only W in their last four games came in overtime against the Raiders in Week 9.
The Chargers’ (7-3) O-line is a major concern, but this defense is coming off a lights-out performance vs. the Steelers on SNF last weekend, and I expect that unit to stifle Trevor Lawrence and the Jaguars today.
I’m not convinced L.A. will cruise on the road today, but I trust Justin Herbert a lot more than Lawrence and Co. right now.
Pick: Chargers -3 (best odds: -105 at FanDuel)
Ravens (-7.5) at Browns — 4:25 p.m. (CBS)
After a 1-5 start, the Ravens (4-5) have been as reliable as any team in the league the last three weeks, and they have a favorable matchup today against the Browns (2-7).
Cleveland’s D might keep this one close early, but Dillon Gabriel and the Browns offense are not going to be able to score enough to keep this game tight for 60 minutes.
The Ravens D has not given up 20 points in a game since Week 5, and this unit has a real chance to hold Cleveland to 14 points or fewer.

Pick: Ravens -7.5 (best odds: -108 at DraftKings)
Cowboys (-3.5) at Raiders — MNF (ABC/ESPN)
Dallas (3-5-1) limped into its Week 10 bye with three losses in its last four games, but the Cowboys’ much-maligned defense should get a boost this week from trade acquisitions Quinnen Williams and Logan Wilson.
Dallas will also have linebacker DeMarvion Overshown and corner Shavon Revel, who are set to make their season debuts.
As long as those four players make the Dallas defense serviceable — which isn’t a huge ask against the struggling Las Vegas offense — the Cowboys should be able to win this one by a touchdown.
The Raiders showed serious fight in close losses to the Jaguars and Broncos the last two weeks, but I don’t see them scoring enough on Monday night to win or cover.
Pick: Cowboys -3.5 (best odds: -105 at FanDuel)
Best NFL Week 11 Player Prop Bet: Rashid Shaheed 3+ Rec. (+109 at DK)
The Seahawks’ recently acquired speedy wide receiver had a quiet debut for Seattle last Sunday in his new team’s blowout win over the Cardinals. As a matter of fact, he was only in action for a third of Seattle’s offensive snaps (21, to be exact). His only catch in that game went for three yards. As a result, he’s flying under the radar coming into today’s massive showdown vs. the Rams.
I expect him to be much more involved today than he was last week. Jaxon Smith-Njigba has been on a historic tear, but the Seahawks knew they needed a reliable complement to JSN, and that’s why they traded a fourth-round draft pick and a fifth-round pick to the Saints for Shaheed.
Expect the Rams to do everything they can to make someone besides JSN beat them today. Whether that actually works is anyone’s guess, but I’m confident it will mean at least a few touches for Shaheed, who had at least four receptions in all nine games he played for the Saints before the trade.
