UK-based MSP Harbor Solutions and cloud platform Zadara have extended their partnership into Australia, offering local partners access to the sovereign AI cloud platform.

“This enables MSPs and partners to localise and customise their offerings for specific markets, providing storage, compute, GPUs, data protection and cyber recovery,” said James Harris, CEO, Harbor Solutions.

The platform runs Nvidia GPUs and applications and is designed to meet local data residency and compliance requirements for Australian organisations.

It opens the door for partners to offer AI deployments, sovereign cloud data residency storage and cyber recovery and data protection solutions.

It can be deployed within an existing colocation or data centre, and built-in headroom and scaleable capacity means it is flexible, allowing partners to respond to changing customer needs and market conditions.

“As more powerful or different services become available, MSPs and partners can take advantage immediately, without costly refresh cycles,” said Harris.

It includes built-in backup and disaster recovery services, tuned for partner use cases and underpinned by Harbor’s ability to deliver Rubrik-based solutions.

Harbor’s ANZ operation provides regional support and consumption-based pricing allows partners to scale services without capital investment of acquiring their own hardware.

“Utility pricing and a simple consumption model, allows MSPs and partners to pay for what they need and use, rather than invest upfront in a ‘build it and hope they come model,” said James Harris, CEO, Harbor Solutions.

In addition, Harris said this offers a replacement for VMware deployments, providing an alternative and migration path with enterprise-grade performance and operational continuity.

“Scalable infrastructure with a reduced risk baseline moves clients away from legacy, expensive platforms such as VMware,” he said.

Zadara has more than 500 edge cloud locations around the world, is compatible with AWS environments and can support sovereign cloud and AI inference at the edge. Harbor Solutions provides data protection services including backup, cyber and disaster recovery.

Harbor and Zadara have jointly delivered infrastructure for channel partners across the UK, supporting hybrid workloads and multi-tenancy arrangements. This marks their entry into the local market where they see a need for these services.

“Channel partners today need more than just traditional IT; they need multi-tenant AI clouds that are tailored to their businesses,” said Harris.
