Former Texas A&M defensive end Myles Garrett is on a historic pace for sacks and had another dominant weekend, bringing down one of the most elusive quarterbacks in the NFL four times in a losing effort against the Baltimore Ravens.

Garrett has been surpassing milestones over the past few years, and during the last three weeks, he’s been on a tear with 14 tackles and an astounding 10 sacks. At this rate, he is projected to reach 25.5 sacks, which would set a new NFL record, surpassing both Michael Strahan and T.J. Watt, who each finished with 22.5.

His career high is 16 (2021 & 2022), and as long as he stays healthy, there shouldn’t be any issue setting a new personal best with seven games remaining, and he already sits at 15. When it’s all said and done, it’s very possible that he could go down as one of the greatest pass rushers in NFL history.

With his four sacks on Sunday, Garrett became the first NFL player to record six consecutive 12-sack seasons, overtaking Lawrence Taylor, who had five straight from 1985–89. He also tied the NFL record for the most sacks in a three-game span with 10.
