But royal watchers are probably not surprised to see Charlotte Casiraghi at the top of her style game. She is, after all, considered one of the world’s most stylish royals. This September, she wowed the culturati in a chainmail-inspired dress from Chanel’s 2024/5 FW Haute Couture collection at the Opening Gala of the Paris Opera’s Ballet season, rubbing shoulders with patrons and enthusiasts for a night of glamour and grand jetés at the Palais Garnier.

Charlotte – who is set to publish her debut solo book, La Fêlure, or ‘The Fracture’ with Juilliard in January – has lived the life one would imagine of someone descended from both Monégasque and Hollywood royalty. Born to Princess Caroline of Monaco and Stefano Casiraghi in 1986, she was four years old when her father died in a boating accident. Over the past two years, Casiraghi has been in the spotlight following her split from her Dimitri Rassam, her husband of five years. They married at the Prince’s Palace of Monaco in 2019 and held their reception at Lagerfeld’s villa at Roquebrune. The couple share a five-year-old son, Balthazar, and Casiraghi also has a 10-year-old boy, Raphaël, by her ex, Gad Elmaleh, a Moroccan-Canadian comedian.

Nor is she a stranger to dazzling le beau monde in Chanel. Earlier this year, she was the spitting image of her late grandmother as she stepped out in the French capital to attend the Grand Dîner du Louvre in March.

Charlotte, who is 11th in line to the throne of Monaco, stole the spotlight at the event, wearing a strapless white gown and a glittering choker for the outing. The 38-year-old swept her hair back from her face and opted for a natural makeup look, with a sweep of blush across her cheeks and a nude lipstick. The look appeared to be a nod to Grace Kelly’s look in the 1955 film, To Catch a Thief, in which she wore a similar ensemble. It was one of Kelly’s greatest movies, helping to make her into a Hollywood icon.
