Like its big brother, the LPGA has also reached the conclusion of the season this week. It’s the CME Group Tour Championship at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Fla., where the total purse if a whopping $11 million with the winner again taking home $4 million for a victory.

Last week where was plenty of late drama to see who would get in—and consequently booted—the field. Three players got into the mix, moving three down. World No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul is also No. 1 on the points list. World No. 2 Nelly Korda, who won seven times last year, has yet to win this year. She’s No. 9 on the list.

But none of that matters now. Whoever wins this week’s tour championship takes home the top spot and the top purse. Second place comes with a consolation prize on the form of $1 million.

Seven past champions are in the star-studded field this week, including Thitikul, who won last year. Twenty-eight of 29 winners this year on tour are in the field. Each of the top 25 ranked players in the world are competing. There are eight rookies playing this week and 14 different players are here for the first time.

It’s shaping up to be an exciting conclusion to the season.
