Meghan Markle has opened up in a new interview about her life in Montecito to her lifestyle brand. Piers Morgan has addressed a part of her candid conversation where it was suggested the Duchess of Sussex’s staff announces the royal before she enters a room. During an interview with Harper’s Bazaar, writer Kaitlyn Greenidge said she and the Duchess, 44, entered a New York City “grand” brownstone that belonged to one of Meghan’s friends.

“When I enter, the house manager announces, ‘Meghan, Duchess of Sussex,’ even though we appear to be the only other two people in the house,” Greenidge wrote.

Taking to social media on Thursday, Piers, 60, shared a link to the article which read: “Meghan Markle’s staff announces royal before she enters room — despite having just two guests.”

In view of his 8.8 million followers, the Uncensored presenter reacted with nine laughing out loud emojis.

His reaction sparked a divide in the comments as one person quizzed: “Okay all you Brits, I have to ask: Are members of the British Royal Family ‘announced’ in this manner upon arrival at routine engagements? Let’s say they visit a school, hospital or charity…would an official appear and call out their title as they step from a vehicle or enter a room?”

While another argued: “She really lives in your head rent free doesn’t she @piersmorgan.” A third quipped: “@SouthPark new episode pronto.” While a fourth added: “Piers is clearly still bitter she cut him off.”

In the past two months alone, Meghan has seemingly been busy making her Paris Fashion Week debut, attending the World Series with husband Prince Harry to cheer on her home team and attending star-studded galas.

The Sussexes were also seen rubbing shoulders with Kris Jenner and the rest of the Kar-Jenner clan at the matriarch’s 70th birthday celebration in Los Angeles earlier this month.

Elsewhere, Meghan locked lips with Harry as she talked about “embracing traditions” in the trailer for her new Netflix special.

She seemingly gave the audience a glimpse into how she, the Duke, and their two children, Archie, six, and four-year-old Lilibet, celebrate Christmas ahead of the show being aired on the streaming platform.
